Alarm System (also called burglar alarm or intruder alarm). Equipment and /or devices designed to detect an unauthorised intrusion, or burglary, or person breaking into domestic, commercial or industrial premises. The system may be connected to a signalling device that can communicate the event to a reaction and monitoring company and provide a local visible and/or audible indication. The alarm system consists of a combination of detection devices, detectors or sensors connected to an alarm control panel via low voltage cable or narrowband wireless. Detection devices, detectors or sensors include magnetic door contacts, motion detectors also known as Passive Infrared Sensors, wired or wireless panic buttons. Signalling devices may include a combination of audible sirens, visible flashing lights, radio signalling transmitters, GSM signalling modules.
